Some Militants said to be based in Akwa Ibom and Cross River areas appear exclusively to Channels TV on Friday night and appeal for the militants bombing oil installations to desist and come for dialogue.

According to them, the attacks on oil pipelines is affecting the country's economy and it is counterproductive. They also called on the FG to stop making inflammatory statement like "crush them etc " as it only aggravate the situation.
