most times people get muslims mixed up with Islam. Islam in its core preaches peace and harmony, this is evident in alot of verses in the Quran and hadith. Nevertheless, islam is a very strict religion, and has laws, this laws are not meant to be broken. it they are, there have their punishments. it doesnt matter if you are a muslim or not, you will be punished.

this is because for you to have a serene society, you need to have laws and punishment if the laws are broken, in the west, europe why do you think there is low crime rate? because if you commit a crime it comes with heavy penalties.

however, some muslims, a minute few (because if the over one billion muslims in the world were like this, then the world would have no other religion) take the law to their hands and act as judge, jury and executioner. which in islam is wrong.
