as am typing, there was serious protest at UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA ,ENUGU CAMPUS last night in which buses and cars at lecturers quarters were vandalized.. there was a public outcry and anger among students due to light shortage and poor amenities for students in the campus ..there was breakage of glasses and vented anger amongst.. there was an almost crippling of the school generator which could not supply more than 2 hrs light a day. school has ordered a immediate closure of school and student are still agitating

Students should learn to engage in intellectual protests. There is no difference between their abominable act and that of motor park touts who destroy public property whenever a fight breaks out. You don't have to be violent to register your displeasure with the school management. I wait to see if they won't pay reparation to the school
