If the president can be in court defending himself over the certificate saga (which is left for the courts to decide . . . I don't want to get into the guilty or innocent angle), this signals a good future for our democracy. I hope the likes of Saraki, Jonathan, Obasanjo, Atiku, Diezani, IBB, Abubakar, Tompolo, Obanikoro, and e.t.c. can realize that no one is bigger than our courts. And should do the needful in clearing their names at the courts when called upon to do so. Moral of the lesson: Don't be a witch; else you will be "witch hunted". |

You finally agreed that Buhari's media trial of suspects is inimical to the development of democracy. It would be of immense benefit to Nigeria if those people who have been accused and denied fair hearing are allowed to defend themselves too, just as Buhari is exercising his legal rights in the courts. 1 Like 1 Share |
