At times we need wisdom more than political braggadocio! Why the delay for floating of the naira that has been long advocated for by experts when the benefits .has a multiplier effect than foxing the naira at an elusive exchange rate!? We really need a seasoned set of economists and not a third class rated university in America graduate as a finance minister! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Now that budget has been passed and the forex policy has been passed, I believe investors now has a hint on which way the country economy is going and can decide where to invest their money. The economy will gradually start taking shape towards the next country elections, with the economy at almost the lowest this is the best time to invest. Can someone update me with the situation of the yen swap, after 3 months of the swap deal nothing is heard about its commencement. Come to think of it at the beginning of last week $10,000 =N3,600,000 but this week $10,000=N2,570,000 based on the interbank fixed rate. If the yen swap now commence dollar can sell for N150 or less because pressure will be reduced on its purchase 5 Likes 1 Share |

All hands must be on deck. If the policy turns out to be good, it will be good for all including the opposition and supporters of this administration. It's good to always criticise the government so that, they will be up and doing. 3 Likes 1 Share |
