President Muhammadu Buhari will announce a former Kano State Police Commissioner, Ibrahim Kpotun Idris as the new acting Inspector General of Police. Mr. Idris is an Assistant Inspector General of Police who once led the Kano state police command. Idris will replace Solomon Arase, who retires from the police force today. The President is currently meeting with the new IGP for a presidential briefing. |

Is there a northern agenda in Nigeria? ours is a nation that doesn't recognise competence but mediocrity all in the name of quota system. 95% of all the appointments made by this man are from the north. |
