Men Share Your Experiences Coping With Male Pattern Baldness (MPD) by waywardpikin: 11:53am On Jun 22, 2016 |
In our younger days we had the privilege of rocking just about any hairstyle be it Mohawk, Afro, Gallas, Obama, Punk, etc. Just like a lion with its thick mane, our hair represented our youth. But as we get older we slowly start to notice some horrifying changes: - Our hairline isn't as straight and sharp as it used to be. - When we try to grow our hair it grows unevenly. - Some areas appear scant and receded in dry patches. When this happens what do you do? How do you cope? Do you shave your hair off completely and go skin? What if you have a head shape that doesn't really go with the bald look? Do you barb it really really low? Has your self esteem suffered as a result of hair loss? Are you having the time of your life going bald? Is there a remedy to prevent hair loss in men? Did this affect your sexual performance and your confidence with women? Do women find bald men attractive? This is one silent battle that a lot of men face at some point in their lives and as trivial as it may seem, it really is a big deal and a huge transition so permit me to ask that you please share your experience coping with male pattern baldness. I'm not sure which section to post this so mods help me out with that. cc lalasticlala farana rocktation Sissy3 dominique |

umehmj: The thicker the beard the more likelihood a man is going to be bald. Sorry my brother, some have head but no cap others get cap but no head. Does your dad have a beard? |

umehmj: In my family it's like a tradition. All the men go bald when they get to a certain age and they are all bearded and very hairy too. Baldness runs in my mom's side of the family too so there was really no escaping it for me. How old are you? Don't be so sure you have escaped it yet o lol |

Good for you bro. Going bald can be a huge lifestyle change for most men, especially if you can't decide if to shave your head or cling on to every last strand of hair you have left. Nairalanders, please am I the only one going bald in here? :/ |

A man loses between 50 and 100 hairs every day of his life. That’s tens of thousands of hairs each and every year. That’s if you’re lucky. If you suffer from male pattern baldness, you’ll lose hair at an even quicker rate. (This male pattern baldness chart shows the most common types of hair loss in men.)

Being bald doesn't mean a thing! I'm not bald, but I love skin cut, I think it all depends on what rocks your boat....... Bald, and loving it.. Typing................ Peace I'm Out

Nateben: You look great I must confess, nice! Though it's easier to willingly decide to rock a skin cut after all you can always switch things up to another style. But when nature strips you completely of that choice, that's just cruel lol. However, attitude is everything. |
