UK conducted a referendum for itself to determine whether to leave the European Union or not. The referendum was not conducted by the European union. Why can't the so-called Biafran apologists conduct a referendum for itself to leave Nigeria instead of calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria to conduct a referendum for them?

Don't equate an apple to tomato.

Britain leaving the EU is like Ghana leaving ECOWAS, either way it remains a sovereign country.

The Southeast has always been a part of Nigeria since its creation as a political entity, it tried to breakaway but failed.

Nobody is asking the Nigerian Government to conduct a referendum for us, what we are asking is that the Government should agree that a referendum be held. The reason for this is to avoid violent confrontation
