The Chairman, Senate Committee on Health, Dr. Lanre Tejuoso, on Saturday, said the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) mismanagement of the health sector caused President Muhammadu Buhari to seek medical treatment abroad for his ear infection.

The Senator, who represents Ogun Central Senatorial District, stated this while presenting empowerment materials to members of his constituency.

While saying that ruling All Progressive Congress had inherited a rotten system, the Senator noted that the PDP’s years of leadership destroyed the health sector

“Do you know the party of the President? It’s All Progressives Congress. Do you know the party that ruled for 16 years? It is PDP. We have just taken over. We inherited a rotten health sector; our budget is just about to start.”
