Nigerian Movies Showing At The Cinemas This Week by HFMagazine: 7:04pm On Jun 27, 2016
This week (June 27 - 30, 2016) at the cinemas, two Nollywood films joined the list of films on display. Ghana Must Go – the Nollywood - Ghallywood film which has been enjoying massive sell outs since its debut might be taking the back seat thanks to the new entries.

Here’s a rundown of other Nigerian films showing this week at the cinemas.

NORTHEAST
Starring OC Ukeje, Ini Dima-okojie, Gbenga Titiloye, Saeed “Funky Mallam” Mohammed and Carol King, the 115 minutes long NorthEast tells the story of love. In the film, Emeka Okafor (OC Ukeje) - a physiotherapist by day and dance instructor by night finds himself in a dilema after he falls in love with Hadiza Ahmed (Ini Dima-okojie).

The couple intend to make their relationship work despite the disapproval of Hadiza’s father.

GIDI BLUES
Making an entry at the cinemas this week is another romantic Nollywood film, Gidi Blues. The 103 minutes long film stars comedian, Lepacious Bose, Daniel Lloyd, singer, Banky W, Gideon Okeke, and Bukky Wright amongst a host of others.

In Gidi Blues, Akin - an indulged playboy from an affluent family finds love in an unpredicted place after meeting a Nkem, a community volunteer working in the slums. The journey of love drags Akin into a whirlwind experience that enlightens him on the other side of life.

GHANA MUST GO

Nollywood comedy and drama film, Ghana Must Go has been enjoying massive turn outs ever since its debut at the cinemas.
Staring Yvonne Okoro, Kofi Adjorlolo, Ik Ogbonna and Nkem Owoh, Ghana Must Go, tells the story of two young lovers who are of Nigerian and Ghanaian origin.

The plot narrates how a London-based Ghanaian woman brings her Nigerian boyfriend home to meet her parents, much to the displeasure of her wealthy father.

Blossom Chukwujekwu, Helen Paul and Ada Ameh Ama also starred in the film.
