Real Madrid have informed Europe’s giants that James Rodriguez and Chelsea target Alvaro Morata can be theirs this summer—but only if they’re willing to fork out £125 million for the pair.

Spanish newspaper Sport reported Real’s hierarchy—namely manager Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez—agree that Rodriguez and Morata should be sold this summer, but they won’t be leaving on the cheap (h/t Daily Star’s Marc Williams).

Rodriguez scored seven goals and recorded eight assists in 26 league appearances last season.

Both attackers have been linked with moves to the Premier League, and Morata was recently brought back to the Santiago Bernabeu from Juventus, presumably for the sole purpose of cashing in for a profit.

Former Chelsea loanees Alexandre Pato and Radamel Falcao are set to return to their respective parent outfits, Corinthians and AS Monaco, leaving Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Bertrand Traore as the Blues’ striking options.

That being said, speculation has recently escalated in the club’s pursuit of Olympique de Marseille frontman Michy Batshuayi, who is primed to complete a £33 million move to Stamford Bridge, according to Sky Sports.

Both Rodriguez and Morata were forced to deal with fringe roles at times in 2015-16, with the latter often a bench option in Turin, while Rodriguez sat behind Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo in Madrid.

However, that didn’t prevent the winger from gleaming for patches of Colombia’s run at the Copa America Centenario, with figures provided by OptaJack:

Rodriguez has found it difficult to supersede the likes of Bale and Ronaldo since arriving in Spain’s capital in 2014, but there have been glimpses of the former FC Porto star’s finest form during his two-year stay.

As for Morata, Gianluca Di Marzio translator David Amoyal recently questioned the idea of another striker arriving in west London if Batshuayi completes his move to the club first:

Incoming head coach Antonio Conte will be better equipped to deal with Chelsea’s transfer window once his Euro 2016 commitments with Italy are complete.

That being said, the Sun (h/t Metro’s George Bellshaw) have reported Chelsea will have big funds to spend as they look to reclaim their status as a power in European football, and a double raid on Real could go a long way to re-establishing their reputation.
