In order to get first-hand information on events in Africa, one of the world’s most prestigious television networks CNN is set to establish a multi-platform operation in Nigeria. This platform which will be located in Lagos will enable CNN have a quick digital presence in Nigeria and across Africa. The multi-platform by CNN will be headed by a very vast and experienced Stephanie Busari who will work across CNN’s newsgathering and digital operations platforms. Busari had before now covered major news for CNN across Africa particularly the news about the Chibok girls. Busari said this on her new supervisory role that “To return to Nigeria at such an important time in the country’s history is a proud and exciting moment for me.
