The Lagos state Government has reacted to the claims of Asari Dokubo few weeks ago, that the State is not an Oil producing State.

In a bid to put the matter to rest, the govt has released several pictures of the Oil wells and production facilities for all to see.

The pictures exclusively obtained by our reporter shows the massive Oil depots in Lagos State.

The pics shows that Lagos States Oil is bigger and lager compared to that of the Niger Delta and the entire South-Eastern region combined together.

there is oil in almost every state of Nigeria but the question is, is it in commercial quantity, that means if I invest 2billions rollers drilling and mounting equipments ,will the oil below ground cover the cost or will it dry after some years, that is the big question

There is no oil in almost every state, stop saying what you don't know.

Petroleum forms from a source rock with favourable conditions and migrates till it reaches a reservoir, then collects at the reservoir.

And it doesn't dry! Instead of drying, if the temperature is too much over millions of years, gas is formed.

Don't make facts on subject matters you know nothing of.

The only people that are jittery about the discovery of exploitable crude deposits in Lagos are the fooools destroying oil facilities in nd. The nincompoops are wreaking incalculable ecological havoc on their land and stewpidly assume that they're hurting nigeria. Crude definitely exist in commercial quantity in lake Chad basin and elsewhere outside nd. The self-serving hoodlums of nd had better realise that only dialogue and peace, not violence, will bring the nd region progress and development. The good people in nd must seize the initiative from the scatter-brain bandits called militants and work selflessly for their homeland.

Jesus Christ....where do you people come out from?

Olobori did not dry! The oil was produced, and the little remaining cannot be technically recovered, so it has been abandoned.

Make statements where your competence lies. Olodo.
