IMPEACHMENT THREAT:  WE SENT YOU TO HELP OUR PRESIDENT NOT TO INTIMIDATE HIM - YOUTHS WARN BAUCHI SENATORS.

Members of the APC Vanguard, a Pro-democratic, Pro-Buhari group warned Senators for Bauchi state to desist from associating themselves with Senators planning the impeachment of the President. They also describe as worrisome the moves by a Senator in the state to grab power by all means.

The youths who came out in large numbers, issued the warning in a letter signed by their chairman, Nura Zungur and delivered to Governor Abubakar at Government House. The group also warned that any senator found among those planning this unpopular and unpatriotic move will face recall, stressing that the good people of Bauchi state voted them in to compliment the efforts of Mr President to deliver the dividends of democracy and not to intimidate him. They also noted as unacceptable recent moves by a Senator from Bauchi who is bent on frustrating the good works of the M. A. Abubakar administration, saying such attacks on the Governor will no longer be tolerated.

They enjoined all to join hands with Mr President and Gov. Abubakar to move Bauchi state forward, saying categorically that they are against any attempt to impeach President Buhari.

Responding, Gov Abubakar thanked them for their support, and promised to deliver their message to the President. He said he will continue to work side by side with President Buhari to improve the lives of all. He also decried the attempts by desperate politicians to tarnish the giant strides he has achieved saying that “business as usual” is now a thing of the past. He thanked the group for their courage and urged good people to be bold and speak up especially when a few disgruntled elements want to set back the wheel of progress.
