The moment we thought that the technology equipment that our forefathers used have been dead and buried long ago, that is the time that we are being greeted with the news that a company known as Funai Corp somewhere in faraway Japan is still manufacturing and selling Video Cassette Recorders.

At the mention of video cassette recorder at this point, we are easily thrown into reminiscence as it makes us look back down the memory lane when we are all growing up as children and the time that VCR was a hit back to back in many homes.

The VCR is the piece of technology that was developed in the 50’s and came into limelight in the 70’s and 80’s but today it is surprising to hear that Funai Corp company is still manufacturing and selling VCR.

Funai Corp is the last standing company still doing that and it all seems that they are even tired of the technology as they gear up towards putting an end to the manufacture of VCRs by the end of this month in what they hinged at difficulty in obtaining parts.

Soon you might hear that they are still making gramophone
