Let's start with the definition of makeup
what is make-up
make-up are substances, product, or custume that enchaces the appearance or scent of the body
When we are talking about makeup..what comes to our mind is always the face... nope you can also make your body up.
but our main concern is the face


Why do people wear makeup
1. To enhance our beauty... u can't compare your natural look to when your face is been painted
2. sometimes it makes us look more mature.. depending on your kind of makeup,... we are still gonna treat "different kinds of makeup" then you'll know what i'm talking about.

makeup product and their uses

eyeshadow: it is applied on the eyelid and under the eyebrow, it is commonly used to wearer's eye stand out or look more attractive.
concealer: it is used to conceal blemishes on even skin tone, under eye dark circles, tattoos and other forms of discoloration on the skin. Concealer can come in liquid, thick or palate form.
trusclucent powder: it is usually uses over or alone...it doesn't change color or foundation or natural color on the face... Yet it beautify the face

The last one is a pallate concealer... Usually meant for makeup artist.
lip liner:designed to enhance natural shade of the lips.
Bronzer: helps to define the face and accentuate it.

Color wheel theory:
Color wheel theory helps to understand colors and ways to use them, to creat a look that is stunning, it also helps to understand each color compliment and which color complement each other. Most common version is the wheel of 12 colors based on the RYB.

Primary, secondary and tertiary colors: in RYB color model.. The primary colors are red, yellow, blue RYB
There are three secondary colors green, orange, and purple these three colors are gotten when two primary colors are mixed together.
Tertiary colors are gotten when primary colors and secondary colors are mixed together.

tips to remember :
Before choosing your eye shadow color, you need to take into consideration your skin color and the skin tone
You also have to give consideration into your wardrobe I.e cloth, shoes and accessories.
Color of the cloth and eyes does not necessarily have to match

Facial Structure: it is Highly important for you to understand your facial structure.if you are a makeup artist you should also consider the facial structure of your canvas v.important.

There are different type of facial structure
Oval
square
Diamond
Pear
Round
Long
Heart

Oval: This is the most idea type of face and it perfect, it oval and usually have lenght longer than the width when measured, most of people that has this kind of face has a high chickbone or their chick bone are permanent. In Most cases expert believe that this type of face does not need contouring since it already perfect and it's in state.

Round: A round shape of face has no length or width, rather it looks very round and in most cases the chick bone is hidden.Some school og thought believe that the lenght and breath of a rounded face is the same when measured.. this type of face may require a bit of corrective contouring to give it a bit of breath and lenght.

Square: It is considered the stronghest type of face. It has a bit of masculinity to any woman who has this type of face. this type of face sometimes has sharpness around the forehead and the most prominent feature of a square shaped face are of sharp jawline, which comes across like a square, apparently this type of face would need corective contouring.

Long: is the lenghtest type of face, sometimes it comes accross like oval shape of face, but for it lenght and narrow nature, this type of face requires doing thing that might cut out a bit of the lenght on the face, someone with a long face mighht be required to wear a flat brow to give an illusion of a shorter lenght, some have high chick bone that is why it's like oval shape of face
