For Those Of You That Are Saying Why Cant They Remove The Sim And Put It In Another Phone Most People Don't Even Know How To Save Numbers On Their Sim They Mostly Do Save It On The Phone Cause Its Default The Same Way Most Of The Message Sent To U Are Being Saved In Phone(Default)

The Best Option Is To Lock Invidual App

Nice piece. This is why it is good to be informed, every phone should have an emergency button for ICE (IN CASE OF EMMERGENCY). So even when the phone is locked, one can still have access to important contacts. My phone has this function and I saved my family and important people in my ICE list. In advanced countries everybody knows about this function, the problem here though is how many people know about this function?

I think sim card can be inserted in another phone. Thus the numbers you stored will also appear. Opp you are just imagining

Naa, these days people don't store contacts in sim cards anymore. Smartphones automatically store contacts in phone memory or in the cloud e.g Google or iCloud. Only a few blackberry phones still store contacts in sim card.

some people have 360 security software installed on their phones, to even pick calls on their behalf is a very big task

Does the app interfere with calls?

I stopped locking my phone about 3 years ago.
Nobody prays for bad things to happen.
We also need to be less secretive.
Why should I go crazy if my phone is accessed?
I lock mine because of my kids. If I leave it open, they'll either finish my credit calling or run down the battery playing games, music etc. At other times, they'll put on silent mode. Wetin person go do?

Some people are in such a high level of possessive relationship that it would better for them to die in this kind of circumstance than for their spouse to have access to some details in their phones.

Yea true but by default it is saved to google if u signed ur Google ID, and if u are not signed in it is saved to phone. Sim card has limited space for contacts.

A word they say, is enough for the wise. Especially for you girls with like 3 boyfriends and 4 magas guys in the friend zone.
Ever wondered why some girls go bananas when you playfully take their phones from them (even when they know they have pass coded it?). Ditto for the many girls who form decent outwardly buh have lots of porn/erotica videos on their phones.
Not also forgetting my guys with multiple babes on their hit list, and those who keep nudes their gfs sent them. Yuck! Who does that?
LOL.

Does the app interfere with calls?

you will need two passwords to pick a call;
one to unlock the phone itself and the other to unlock the software protecting the phone apps

I disagree with you bruv

that's what ICE (In Case of Emergency) is for

works on android,BB,windows and IoS platforms

My phone is my personal space, more or less like my room , if i find you in my room without my permission we go fight taya grin grin grin

The same way you get angry when you find a stranger in your apartment or building

How would calling relatives save his life ? Will they just manifest to Lagos if the accident occourred in Abuja ? Will they transport blood via email if he needs transfusion ?

The way i see it , Everyone should always carry ID card with Relative's number or Download ICE

I strongly believed you are not living in Nigeria with this your "my space syndrome"
yes I password my phone but you can still access some info on it without stress
do I even need to unlock my phone before making calls ?
we should learn what is important than what is necessary.

The phone means different things to different people. Some persons almost entire lives are locked up in their phones. Every one has a right to his or her privacy and you and I must respect it.

GBAM!!! or what if the person was not with his/her phone, so they won't have helped or the phone got damaged along with the accident. His phone was not an excuse to secure his life.

What if most of his important nos are on the phone memory? Most android users save their contacts directly to gmail. Avoiding screen lock is the safest.
One can use apps like privacy guard or netqin vault to lock important private apps aside contacts.

A friend of mine was involved in a a motor accident on his way makurdi, somewhere in a remote part of benue state, according to eye witnesses he became unconscious and was rushed to the local health centre around that area for first aid treatment.

The good samaritans that helped were able to locate his two phones and they tried contacting his family or friends to inform them of his where about, but to their disappointment the two phones were locked. He stayed in the state of coma for two good days before finally giving up the ghost, because the local health centre lacked the professionals to keep him alive.
Had his phone been accessible he might have stood a better chance of being alive today.

So avoid putting a screen lock on all your phones, it's okay to lock certain applications that may contain personal messages and informations e.g mobile banking app, WhatsApp e.t.c. but at least leave the contact list accessible to everybody, DON'T PUT A SCREEN LOCK.
This might just save your life.

I recommend the use of this app, it allows you selectively lock different apps.
