The average Nigerian girl's dream is to get married, after that? To give birth to children, after that? To raise the children, after that? To raise the children's children, after all that then what? Do we ever stop to think about it?

Get a life! Get a purpose for your life. A purposeful person is always more attractive than a wanderer.

Marriage itself is not an end, it's only a means to an end. That end is fulfillment; so when you get joined with a man later, purpose should be one of the things that brings you together

The bible talks about two people being better than one because they'll be a better reward for their labor. If there's no labor they'll be bored. That's why a lot of marriages are boring - nothing to talk about

Most men need their space, they need you to also have a life, so at the end of the day there's something to talk about. They can as well contribute to your dream(s)

I want to beg you women of Nigeria discover God's purpose for your life; you can even meet the man faster when you're in your purpose

Learn something! If you don't know your gift or ability; learn something.

Do something you've never done; read properly or write better. Try to know a little about everything, it helps you hold conversations.

A lot of us can't discuss about a lot of things that really should concern us, least to talk about our society, country or the world...

The bible says the gift of a man makes room for him and brings him before great men....

True
Women grow up with some pretty damaging mentalities.

1) A man must spend for me.
2) it's not my duty to contribute to anything financial in d house.

Hell no.

The idea of empowerment coming from an online post is laughable at best.

It just makes you feel better about yourself and the few women out there already "empowered".

No doubt if this thread graces FP, you'll see girls women writing shit like "So true"; "you're right" or even "I'm a proud femnist" lipsrsealed..........and forget about this thread in the next 30 minutes.

It's a pipe dream at best.
