Nollywood Comic actor, Imeh Bishop Umoh popularly known as "Okonlagos" has warned the Niger Delta Militant group to desist from Akwa Ibom State.

The warning came on the heel as explosion suspected to be caused by the militants rocked Obotim Ikot Ekong village in Nsit Ibom local government area of Akwa Ibom State.

The explosion, according to the Transition Committee Chairman of Nsit Ibom local government council, Mr Victor Umondak,shook the whole village,causing many people to flee the area into the bush,with some yet to be accounted for.

Following the explosion, Umoh took social media beg the militants to sheath their sword, to stop bombing Pipelines and start loving Nigerian as their Country.

He said; "Niger Delta Avengers abeg e don do! Please sheath your sword and embrace peace. You are more than this na? There are matters and issues of more pressing import than bombing oil and gas pipelines. Bomb Boko Haram camps instead and Avenge the death of the many innocent lives Boko Haram have taken. Don't make one classify u as terrorists cos I don't want to believe you are. Embrace peace and let's make Nigeria great and shame those who think we as a nation will be ripped apart. Also please leave Akwa Ibom State. Violence is alien to Akwa Ibom people so please don't ignite it! #LoveYourCountry #horrortoterrornotterrortopipelines... Thanks."
