He was using that NLC President office then to gain more popularity for himself. He knew what he was doing all along. He only used those charade fightings with the then government to fool the masses and achieve his aim.

Then, he would come to national TV in the daytime to brag and insult the government and in the night, he and those he was insulting during the day will wine and dine in good hotels, making jest of the masses who believed in him.


If not for his popularity while he was the NLC president, where and how can he find himself as a state governor.
