The current peace talks between the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, and the Federal Government aimed at ending the militancy in the Niger Delta region have achieved far-reaching compromises.
The common ground so far attained in the dialogue, taking place through oil companies and security agencies, includes the release of former militant leader, Henry Okah, in prison in South Africa and Charles Okah, held in Nigeria.
