Just 3days after NARD suspended its nationwide strike, they are yet again planing to embark on another nation wide strikein support of some of their colleagues in other states who haven’t yet been paid their outstanding salaries.

The National President of NARD, Dr Muhammad AdamuAskira warned Taht their fellow colleagues outstandingsalary should be paid in full to avoid intrude of medicalservices in the said states.

The involved hospitals includes FMC Birnin Kebbi, ABUTH Zaria, National eye center Kaduna, National ear care Kaduna, FNPH Kaduna, JUTH, FMC Lokoja, FMC Bida, UITH Ilorin, UATH Gwagwalada, FMC Abuja, LUTH, FMC Owo, FNPH Aro, UBTH, UPTH, ISTH, FNPH, UNTH, FMC Owerri, FMC Umuahia, FMC Asaba, NAUTH, FETHA and FETHI Ekiti.

Doctors again?

Doctors and strikes! As if theirs' was the only hazardous or "professional" occupation in the country!!

I just pray this "incessant strike" habit of theirs won't push the Fed Govt back to the "Hospitals Privatization Framework" threat of the last administration. Then, that would have dire repercussions and shockwaves won't be felt only by doctors but all players in the sector!
