WINNING WAYS! OKOROCHA, MADUMERE WAYS!!!

For Owelle Ndigbo, the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and his Deputy, Prince Eze Madumere, the essence of living is to touch lives wherever they find themselves. Yes, you may be successful in business, academics and in your chosen career but without stooping to serve humanity, you have not won.

Yesterday, Prince Madumere having missed his flight following to an accident scene at Naze junction that caused a gridlock, which kept on the road for over 30 minutes. And rather than dwell in the pain of missing an important appointment in Lagos, he chose to return to the scene of the accident to win. He mobilised his aides, security apparachik to join him to help out. He took charge not minding he is the Deputy Governor. And for one of the vehicles that was right in the middle of the Road, which its battery had gone flat, Imo Deputy Governor without expressly offered his battery. In a few minutes, the long stretched traffic was cleared and hope of those who felt hopeless were rekindled. That was a show of leadership. Finding ways to solve problems rather than dwell in blame games.

Often times, nature bring such little opportunities our ways to help out. Everything is not money because leadership has nothing to do with money but every effort towards contributing to the uplift of your people or even the next person to you. These are winning ways that seem as though they mean nothing. Some of the virtues expected of a leader are humility and loyalty to your people and their course.

Have you won today? What have you done for humanity? Obama won because of his inclination to humanity, Owelle is winning because he chose to be a father to the fatherless and extended hand of fellowship to poor families. Yes, in your little way you can win... Ben Uwajumogu did not just win, a ground had been prepared for such to happen... Ndi Imo, Ndigbo follow those leaders that would want you to win and that would rather sacrifice their time, intellect for humanity to win.
