THE Tompolo Foundation on Friday, awarded scholarships to seven Gbaramatu indigenes who bagged first class Degrees from the Benson Idahosa, Edo State in furtherance of their Education anywhere in the world.

The Foundation led by its Executive Secretary, Comrade Paul Bebenimibo presented the scholarships to the seven students at the Office in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State. He revealed that the award of scholarships to the deserving students was to reduce arms agitation in the region.

The seven students are Ikpa Aza-Ere Deborah, Odiki Seimiekumo Otogo, Biriyai Rachael Akpos, Fianka Diamond Tamarabra, Okoro Evans Beke, Ari Ebomotimi Ephraim and Boleidowa Lucky.

Bebenimibo who spoke with Saturday Vanguard shortly after presenting the scholarships to the beneficiaries advised them to be good Ambassadors of Nigeria and to the Tompolo Foundation. He enjoined them to come out in flying colours to contribute their quota to the development of Gbaramatu kingdom, Delta State and Nigeria in General. “We all belong to Nigeria .

They should be good Ambassadors of this country and also good Ambassadors of the foundation and to come out in flying colours to contribute their own quota to the development of their fatherland.” Bebenimibo noted that the students have the choice of choosing the University they want to study for their Masters Degree.
