Saudi Arabia intercepted two ballistic missiles fired at the kingdom by the Yemeni Houthi movement on Wednesday, the Saudi television network Al Arabiya reported.

The Saudi government and an alliance of most allied Gulf Arab launched thousands of air strikes against the Houthis and their allies in the Yemeni army since the kingdom intervened in the civil war in Yemen, on behalf of the exiled government.

The Saudis are supporting a pro-government offensive dangerous, but without worrying about civilian casualties.

I knew it was only a matter of time before low oil prices starts a war/conflict somewhere.

Saudi, Qatar, and some gulf countries have increased pump prices twice in 12 months . . . the low crude prices really taking its toll on them -- something must to be done -- like a war somewhere.

Trigger unrest in Nigeria, some war in the middle east, and prices will rise.

the yemeni houthi have been fighting government forces for some years now. infact the government have ben sent into exile before gulf cooperating countries led by Saudi starting launching offensive late last year. like in syria this is a proxy war between Iran and Saudi. the Houthis' are backed by Iran while the exiled government were backed by Saudi, but since the government has lost the fight Saudi and GCC have taken up the fight directly.

so many shiit happening, Saudi led coalition is fighting with Iran via proxies for the control of middle east politics and business with the sanctions easing on Iran.
