this funny question just popped up in my mind, what happens to a pregnant inmate that gives birth in prison, will the baby be incarcerated? will it be taken to juvenile detention? will it be taken to motherless babies home? will the nursing mother be released based on probation? |

When a pregnant inmate put to birth while in prison custody, the father or relative of the child would be called upon to take the child home, while the mum will still be in detention. |
