^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The biggest problem we in Nigeria is not Govt at d centre but d Govt at d state. When are talking of re-structuring let us start by dishing d states. The biggest thieves are state executives. Pass d money from d centre straight to LG and Ward Govt and see Nigeria take off like a jet.

In d UK no states. It just d centre and d LG Government development is meaningful. We should jettison this state idea. I know we want to be like USA but our Governors do not have d acumen for such lofty post they abuse it.

The best way to know how many wards we have is to know how many delegates come for both the PDP and Apc national Conventions. There should be a representative from each ward in the fedration so I think undecided

12,001 according to http://www.nigerianmuse.com/20070414084834zg/sections/important-documents/inec-distribution-of-senatorial-districts-federal-and-state-constituencies-electoral/

The source you quoted indicates that Nigeria had 8,812 wards and 120,001 polling units AS AT April 14, 2007. But kudos for being the only one who attempted the question.

This is 2018 and according to INEC, there are 8,809 wards and 119,973 polling units for the 2019 elections.
