Orji Uzor Kalu and his menace of distractions: Abia North Political and Economic Youth Forum:

Must our people suffer politically and economically because of a man's selfish interest? This is a man that has been Governor of Abia for eight years. Yet he cannot boast of any meaningful project outside his Igbere town. This man used his position to destroy community cohesion in Abia State especially in Abia North where he come from. During his time as the Governor, the once flourishing Abiriba Land was desecrated, her people were instigated against themselves. Property worth millions were destroyed just as their worthy sons and daughters were forced on exile with the highly exalted Enachioke stool desecrated by Orji Uzor Kalu and his agents. This same tyrannical act was carried out in other communities through his dastardly divisive and destructive style of Governance. We cannot also forget his mother, the mother excellency aka Odiuko. The woman who alongside his son, OUK forced many of our people working for him to Okija in Anambra State to swear oath before an unkown god. What can we say about the forceful grabbing of community lands through different deceitful means. Many communities in Bende as at today, lost their land to Orji Uzor Kalu and his mother because they were deceived that the Government will in turn develop their land for them.
Sadly, Only in Nigeria will someone with some weighty allegations against him will still shamelessly be standing for election or wanting to become a senator through the back door when he had failed in the election proper.
Abia North deserves better. We need Senator Mao Ohuabunwa to continue as our Senator. We are sending a warning message to Orji Uzor Kalu and his mother to allow our elected Senator to focus in his primary assignment of representing us in the Senate. We don't need a crook as our senator. We are aware that Orji Uzor Kalu has some weighty financial allegations hanging on his neck. We are also aware that he milked Abia State dry and left no structure as legacy.

Therefore, we are using this medium to call on the EFCC to expedite action and prosecute the criminal ex Governor.
Our people are not ready for another setback, we want progress and we have given Senator Mao Ohuabunwa our collective mandate to represent us. We call on Abia Elders, Mothers, Students and Youths to join forces against the Okija Shrine Disciple and his Mother Odiuko. We must defeat them and their principalities this time.
