First see ur doctor..u might need to run a blood sugar test. If it indicates Dat ur blood sugar is high u need to watch ur diet. Sugar is a good growth medium for d bacteria that causes boil and that might just be one of d reasons for boil recurring.

It's most likely a case of methicillin resistant Staph Aureus (MRSA).

Visit a hospital and do a bacteria culture for MRSA.
You may need to be placed on a stronger antibiotics that the organism is not resistant to.
The pharmacist may have given you a drug for ordinary boil (because he thought it was just a boil) but if it has become recurrent, then it is no longer an ordinary boil and some antibiotics will not work.

You have to get a definitive diagnosis so that an antibiotic that the organism is sensitive to will be prescribed.

Dear Op, i once had a recurrent boil earlier in the year.A family member who is a nurse prescribed a particular drug that I can't remember and that was the end.I remember she told me it was caused by unhygienic conditions around me which I took care of immediately in addition to taking the drugs. You might want to check your clothings especially underwears. .

In other words, visit a doctor and be more cautious about the condition of your clothings.

This is very rude and uncultured of you. You hide behind a faceless and anonymous forum to insult people.You must be a coward. you didn't see that i told her to visit a doctor., and also couldn't read the condition of "may" attached to the HIV test.

Others are suggesting diabetes and blood sugar without putting her age into consideration.(knowing that type 1 is not common) you didn't say anything about that.

The best thing for her to do is to see a doctor as i have suggested. Had it been the first prescription was from a doctor, this time around she will definitely need to do a blood test. But now, it's likely the doctor will first try out some drugs on her, depending on his observations.

But next time learn to be respectful when addressing strangers.

it happened to me sha but mine was on my head. Omo see plenty boils for my head, I carry am like that write exam. I have spots on my head now, I fired it with licosine abi lycomysine.

Doyin? Really i have often say d the most common reason for recurrent boils would be traced to low host immune cells.
Generally,most boils are caused by the bacterium (staphylococcus aureus) which exists in a copious amount on different spots on the skin most notably the nose, armpit, groins majorly. However, they are harmless unless when the host immunity becomes low. See a doctor or pharmacist.
