Most stretch marks has nothing to do with creams

They occur mainly when you take contraceptive.

Contraceptives trick your body to expand and develop certain features thinking that it is pregnant (to foil any attempt of fertilization).

When the body later realize that it is not pregnant, it will try to return back to the normal size (shrinking) leading to those marks as skin fold over each other.

Therefore the elastic limit is drastically reduced to almost non elastic level, any additional slight gain in the weight stresses the skin to expand by force and thereby leaving a stretch mark

The worse case in the cream scenario is that ladies cream their entire body unlike men who just cream the hands, palms, legs and feet.
