When would people learn that states have been unsustainable for years.

You guys agitate for state creation not considering the sustainability of such entities.

Worse still, when these states are created they have overloaded wage bills without a mechanism for wealth generation.

They are wholly dependant on money from the centre which is often from sales of oil and tax.

Should the Governor's push for reduction in workforce or salaries there would be mayhem.

The general population should start considering entrepreneurship in the shape of farming or product creation.

There's no magician that can make these payments in the wake of a slump in prices of crude oil.

But this is why most people of Lagos have aligned with Tinubu.

People fail to realise that Lagos could so easily have been like any other state if it hadn't been blessed with visionary leaders.

Under Abacha's government domestic refuse littered the streets of Lagos but that hasn't been the case for years.
Salaries are paid and business thrives.

There is a seemingly sustainable method of growth in Lagos and this is creeping into neighbouring states.

This is not an issue for tribal bashing neither is it one for throwing rival parties against each other.

If you are really thinking about solutions it's best you do some introspection.

This is funny.
Just in May they celebrated him at U.J Esuene stadium for paying May salaries on the first day of the month. The stadium almost went agog with people shouting alert! alert!! alert!!! Now alas here they are. Are they protesting 3 months? I know they have that right, but if its more that that then they deserve that punishment for being gullible in this change era.

With the highest PM price experienced ($120+)
With depletion of reserves
With increased foreign and internal indebtedness

Even FG under the leadership of GEJ borrowed to pay FG workers till the end of its tenure to pay workers' salaries - http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/05/06/fg-borrows-n473bn-to-pay-salaries-okonjo-iweala/

No wonder, Nigerian Universities experienced the longest strike in the history of Nigeria.
