Some APC leaders In Ondo state recently met in Akure, with the agenda of the meeting solely to fashion ways for Olusola Oke to emerge as the party’s gubernatorial candidate. Ekimogunmirror learnt that the leaders out-rightly kicked against Senator Ahmed Tinubu’s preferred candidate Olusegun Abraham, citing he is not popular to win at the polls.

Our source hinted that the leaders are of the opinion that Chief Olusola Oke is the only candidate who can deafeat the PDP at the polls, hence the need to make him the party’s flagbearer.

The party has been rocked with internal crisis in the last few days, with some members of the party sacking the state party chairman D.I Kekemeke.
