Burkini furore on Twitter

The photos of the woman on the beach in Nice, first published by Britain's Daily Mail, caused a furore on Twitter, with the hashtag #WTFFrance becoming a top trending topic.

"Just let this sink in. Men with guns forcing a women to UnCloth, with the weight of the law behind them," read a tweet by user Abdel-Azim, who is described as the editor of a religious magazine, which was retweeted more than 26,000 times.

When even racist @CarolineFourest is shocked by wht happened in Nice it means things really went too far #WTFFrance

This is what sane nations do to protect their citizens and way of life. This is what sophistication means. Looking evil in the eye and dealing with it regardless of consequence, not looking for an easy escape route so as to preserve the status quo like our self-acclaimed sophisticates do in Nigeria.
France is a secular country. It is high time france reminded these muslims of that.
If you can't put up with that, then go back to your Islamic hell-holes in the middle-east and Nigeria.

I don't blame the policemen though, they don't want another bad breaking news or making headlines for months on terrorist attack.
I feel sorry for her though, the harassment and embarrassment, at least her hair is still covered.

No clothes on, at the beach, yet you carry yourself go there to propagate your religion. Thank God France is not Nigeria where religion is everything.

It is not by force to go to the beach. Stay at home and sun yourself.

I don't shi for her. There's always a price to pay when you go against certain codes and a cop is gotta do what a cop is gotta do.
