Nigerian Football Governing Body NFF in past years and of recent has slacked in fulfiling their duty and responsibilities expected of them.

For the second time in about 16 months, Eagles failed to reach the 16-nation continental soccer fiesta, a big dent to the ego to Africa's most populous country, whose people pride in their soccer ability.

A little over three years after winning their third AFCON title in South Africa, this latest setback that comes with one match yet to play in the qualification campaign has left fans in despondent mood, with some calling for the head of the NFF board headed by Amaju Pinnick, under whose watch the Eagles have failed to qualify for two AFCON tournaments in succession. And jumping into the fray last night, Kojo has berated the NFF board for the drift of the Eagles, despite an abundance of talents at their disposal.

it was the NFF's fault that Eagles did not qualify for Gabon 2017 because of their failure to develop a football philosophy to guide the national teams and their coaches. "The biggest problem of our football is the lack of a football philosophy by the NFF for the national teams. There is no technical roadmap guiding the Eagles and that is why we are where we are. Those guys in the NFF don't have a clue as to where they want to take the Eagles, not to talk of how to achieve that target.

Also Olympics Games which commenced August 5, NFF were unable to accommodate the Nigeria U23 team, the Nigeria U23 team didn't prepare well for the Olympics but thank God they came out wonderfully by winning a bronze medal.

Before their match against against Colombia in their last group stage in which they lost but have qualified, having won their first two matches to qualify for the next round, Nigeria U23 captain John Obi Mikel, had to pay for the accommodation and the transport fare for their game against Colombia. They arrived at the training ground late, hopefully they didn't forfeit the match. NFF also refunded the money back to Mikel.

Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia who led the Dream team to win bronze medal at the Rio Olympics 2016 recently accused the NFF for not paying his money they've been owing him and he wants them to pay him his money completely.

Siasia led the Dream Team VI to the bronze medal at the Rio Olympic Games after overcoming Honduras 3-2 in the third place match, which happens to be Nigeria's only medal at the games.
