BB HAS BEEN MY ONE FAVOURITE PHONE FOR YEARS
I BOUGHT AND USED ALMOST ALL AVAILABLE BB PHONES. FROM CURVE TO BB10... THE CURRENT ONE AM HAVING NOW IS ONE OF BB 10 .BUT LAST WEEK, I JUST TRIED SOMETHING NEW , AND I THANK GOD I DID.SINCE MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT ANDROID, AND BB ANDROID PHONE IS NOT READILY AVAILABLE IN NIGERIA...I DECIDED TO GET ONE ANDROID. I BOUGHT GIONEE M5 MINI.
NOW, I AM ENJOYING IT.
HERE ARE MY OBSERVATIONS FOR YOUR DOCUMENTATION:
1. BB PHONES HAVE LIMITED FREE APPS , BUT ANDROID HAS UNLIMITED GOOD FREE APPS
2.BB DOES NOT SUPPORT MOST OF NIGERIA-Target apps , BUT ANDROID DOES
3. BB DOES NOT SUPPORT MOST OF RELIGIOUS EMPOWERMENT APPS , BUT ANDROID DOES
4. BB DOES NOT HAVE INBUILT CALL RECORDERS , BUT ANDROID DOES
5. BB DOES NOT SUPPORT INSTANT RADIO RECORDING , BUT ANDROID DOES.
6. BB DOES NOT SUPPORT many banking apps , But Android does
7. BB does not support Facebook sharing hub, and Whatsapp almost gone on BB. , BUT Android does...
I have other 97 differences...to mention IF AM ALLOWED TO DO SO.

So people are still using blackberry?
How can a sane person compare bb to android? Don't you even know that blackberry is now making android phones? If their. OS was better you think they will ditch it for Android Smh.

when I first saw this topic I was like WtF? who pushed this to front page? then I opened the thread and saw bunch of marketers lobbying for space on the first page.. I can't laugh abeg.

As the battle, between bb and Android rages on, let me chip this to it..

Though, I use an android ND Ios devices, but I remain and will always remain a loyal bb fan. My z30 still remains the best phone ive ever used. I still regret selling it. I had to cos I already have 3 phones, (bb, Android, Apple) so one had to go.

The browsing in bb10 is faster, #fact.
You dont have to worry about malware, Trojan, etc

You also dont have to bother about installing kingroot, queenroot, rootking, etc.

Emails drop on bb faster than android and apple. Eg,when i receive an email, I see it first on my bb. After loke ten minutes, it drops on my android. But my iPhone, o had to refresh ND keep refreshing...

Bb is more secured than android. If you are the type that takes security a high priority, switch to bb 10.

I don't know which to choose. I use both, android cos of the versatility of the its applications and its malleability. And blackberry cos of their hardware (sound engine, camera etc), that's why I still love blackberry.

There's lg, htc, huawei, sony, nexus(made by diff companies), oneplus... Many quality android phones... Don't expect whatsapp to reverse it's decision. It warned since the beginning of the year.

True BB loads faster when browsing but this is mainly because the web pages are compressed as the ram is not enough to run high-resolution backgrounds on web pages. This also means it consumes less data.


Anyway, android all tha way

I totally agree with u. I never thought I would ever return to BlackBerry after 4yrs I dumped it for all kinds of android. From p5 to infinix hotenote2 to HTC V6. But I think I am loving this my Q10 much better

If you are doing anthing illegal, it would be hard to hack your phone and BB never get virus. If you encrypt an Android device, it use to consume memory space on it own. I still prefer Android for the apps.
