Deputy Senate President Dr. Ike Ekweremadu with Senator Ogba of Ebonyi and their entourage met with leaders of Enugu community in New York City recently. The DSP also used to opportunity to familiarize with the people and intimate them with the general progress being made by Enugu state government. See some photos from the meeting.

For the life of me I cannot understand why they need to meet in New York to discuss the progress and affairs of their state. 

Has anyone ever heard anything like community leaders / stakeholders from London meeting in Lagos, or Abuja or the like to discuss the affairs of their city?
