Why not in Lagos or in Africa?

This question might seem awkward to some persons because of the power challenges etc..

but I feel its a valid question-

Nigeria is the largest in Africa in terms of human population- its reasonable to request for a kind of mini data centre that can replicate or synchronize with the main data center - its our info thats involved here, so there is sense in asking.

secondly- Renewable energy they called it- this is not impossible to attain, if only those that met with the CEO of the social media hub while in Nigeria could be sincere and selfless in their suggestions to making Nigeria(not them alone) have a bite off the biz empire .

Why not in Lagos or in Africa?

so that native militants and terrorist will take advantage of clueless nation states and their literate leaders and public officials to destroy infrastructure beneficial to the people and intelligent few?

That's your government job , ..and that's why you have a government ..go and ask Buhari, or your governor ..Nigeria should be the leaders in SUN renewal energy , we have more sun than any other country or continent in the world ... you have not even managed to benefit form oil and gas not to talk of solar energy which is far simpler to access ..our government should take advantage .

Why not in Lagos or in Africa?

1. There are not yet enough users in Africa to justify that level of investment

2. There is not yet enough bandwidth in and out, and said bandwidth is probably 10x-100x the price in Africa than USA

3. African governments can't yet guarantee the safety of your property (e.g. It won't be visited or blown up by various malcontents)

4. It will cost 2x-4x as much due to importation taxes, shipping cost, Nigerian factor, etc.

5. Where will you get the talent to staff it?
