Try it on a little child (they are more open to suggestion which is critical to successful hypnotism) tell the child that you saw a big black shadow crawling on the wall. Pretend you can see it, pretend you are scared of it. Tell the child to look well and he will see the big scary shadow. Tell him it is a demon, tell him it has horns, tell him it is holding a knife. Sooner or later that child will start seeing such shadows.
