recently i did my routine formatting of my c drive (i have 2 physical drives, 3 partitions) to cut de jist short, instead of formatting my c drive as i instructed, it swapped de drive names c to d, renamed my d drive as c and away went all my precious files. i used a file recovery software but not all files are recovered. am even surprised it even recovered some. anyone with better info/solution. HEEELLLLLLLLLLLLP PLS |

But easy recovery professional should be able to recover all your files for you. because I have used it to recovered formatted files for several times and didn't fail me. |

i formatted my installer hard drive by accident earlier this year - i was more or less able to recover my files using runtimes getdataback another option is getdata recover myfiles these are commercial programs but if you know where to look. . . kindly refrain from asking for keygens to the apps on this ofum cheers |

all of una thanks for ur inputs! i used "Active.File.Recovery.v7.3.Build.121" it recovered some of my files. most importantly de most recent files. older files seemed to be corrupted. at least it's better than losing ALL ur data.  i remain grateful to God for reminding me of "Active.File.Recovery" and thanks too to those who developed it |

Please All in the house should look into this very critically. This thing that happened to this man had happened to some of us in and outside this forum. It had happened to me two years ago and I was able to recover 80% of my inportant data. At least, this is worth it. It is a pity that I misplaced the file (software) and I hav been searching on how to have it again. Other recovery software may also do it but I will prefer "Power Data Recovery" (any version from version 2 will give you a good work). Please, any one that can lay hand on that file any time, anywhere should let me know and I will appreciate in my own way.
