BIOGRAPHY OF LATE MRS. VERA NWABUWE NEE – OYIBODE

52 years ago, little Vera Oyibode arrived the world and landed in the Oyibode’s family. A great joy overwhelmed the entire city, village and community.

little Vera was weaned by both parents until she was 9 years old, the same power behind death stole away untimely, our Father ( Late Engineer Samson Oyibode Ogwu) at a very young age of 39

Because, Sister Vera was destined to live, survive and be great, she was exposed to the challenges of time and season.

Among all odds, she grew up to be a woman. She had both formal and informal education, home and abroad.

Mrs Vera married to Mr. Monday Okoh and were blessed with two children, namely; Whitney okoh and Joseph Okoh.

Sister Vera grew up to become a lovely and lovingly mother, mentor, a way maker, a socialist, an Amazon, a great advocate, an encourager and an outstood politician who coordinated and mobilized for Gabriel Oyibode Campaign Organization, played a major in the 2014 general elections and she was among international observers that observed the 2014 presidential election. full of life!

Until death came knocking, little did she know she would die and confessed Christ until her last breath to the glory of God. At her early stage as a woman, she was a princess to an exalted lady and later found Christ, got saved and ordianed as priest of the most high God.

Faith took Vera away from the shores of the African continent, 25 years ago across, the Asia, Europe and the UK and Ireland where she finally got married and settled until her death.

Fondly known and called ‘Lady V’, ‘Mama V’ and ‘mama 1’ by family, friends and well wishers. your friends and family love you even in your ill-health until we lost you to the cool hand of death.

Honesty, we will all miss your encouraging vigor and your cheerfulness to all and sundries that ever crossed your part.

Adieu my dear sister, sleep in peace in the bosom of your Owner, Father and Creator!

TRIBUTE
A GEM IS LOST FOR EVER
Lamentation 3:17, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
Who is that man, woman or personality that would say a thing and it will come to pass when the Lord has not commanded?

Certainly, there is a time and a purpose to everything under the HEAVEN; ‘A time to be born and a time to die. A time to laugh, make merry and a time to mourn’ ‘a time to gain and a time to loose’.

In fulfillment of destiny and God’s purpose for my loving and darling sister of blessed memory Vera Nwabuwe nee Oyibode. She has gone to join the Saints, the Lord and her Creator who sitteth in the heavens.

My sister Vera meant so much to me and my entire family. one thing I would forever remember of her is, she is a mobilizer of both human and capital resources. she was an amazon, a socialist, a politician with a difference, an encourager, an advocate and a way maker, a cheerful woman and down to earth in her dealings.

vocabulary, time and space would fail me to give a detailed tribute of our dear sister and friend.

Without prejudice in our hearts and minds, we will miss you greatly and we pray heavens would be kind enough to heal the pain your sudden demise has caused us and replace, if possible the vacuum your absence has created.

Adieu my BIG and DEAREST SISTER! Sleep in peace in the bosom of your Owner, Creator and Father.

Who can question His Supremacy?

GoodBye and GoodNight! ..till we meet and part no more!

Amb. Chief (Dr.) Gabriel C. E. Oyibode (Former Delta State PDP Governorship
Aspirant, 2014)

Dear sister, am I dreaming or yet to wake up from my sleep. it is hard to believe that you are no more with us. Your demise has only helped to rekindle the pains of over 42 years ago when dad passed on. My only consolation is that you are resting peacefully with our Lord Jesus. Even in death, I still love you as my dear sister. Sleep well till we meet on the last day
- MR. LUCKY OYIBODE

Sist, as I fondly called you... You touched the life of everyone that came your way in meaningful ways...both Black and White, Young and Old... You believed life is for living and you lived it well, giving all like you knew time was of the essence...Surely death has been shamed in you case!!! Sis, you live on as you’re forever in our hearts. Your passage opened up new chapters in each of our lives...to live and to love like time is of the essence...with fondest thoughts!
- JOYCE OGUNYEMI on behalf of family and friends in Dublin.

Vera Wang as I fondly called her was a wonderful sister and friend. She was a woman who has the interest of others at heart. She had loved for everyone human, whether old or young. She was a great fun! She had a heart of a baby. if I have to write a detailed tribute, I would go on and on and there won’t be enough space for me. My heart is bleeding and my eyes heavy with tears. I see you daily and the memories of the gentle goodbye “U” bade us. Vera I’m going to miss you till we meet to part no more we all loved “U” May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace
“AMEN”
