You re right dear, itz not easy taking a look at the rate of inflation in Nigerian mkts, even here in the North were things are known to be relatively cheaper, its all same.
As a mudu of local rice=800
Mudu of beans=500-650
Palm oil=500 [beer bottle ]
G/oil =400
Macaroni =200
Kerosene =300~500
Garri=550~650[yellow garri]
Tea/milk =[3000 monthly ] I do finish 500gmilk within 2wks
Consumes Bread on daily basis for breakfast
As I roughly spend between 10k-15kmonthly.
Though some months will be lower cuz I do buy food stuffs in bulk, so some food items do extend more than a month.
The state supports us with 5k monthly which amounts to 55k for 11months duration.
My PPA z close, I locked up and never traveled home since I came to camp cuz I'm serving in d North while I am from East, my parents and friends encouraged me to do that to minimize costs and risks .
From my calculations, I'm going to save at least 100k after pop by march/april, hv used part of the state allawe to upgrade my phone, hv sent 5k, 5k to different friends, don't take beers, but I eat to my satisfaction.
