Arise a group of angel investors are seeking to invest in innovative entrepreneurs and startups in the FinTech space. FinTech (financial technology) startup which will start on the 14th of October will see pitchers win one million naira at the Arise competition.

At the competition, 5 entrepreneurs will pitch for 5 minutes. The competition will be judged by a panel consisting of two investors and two guest judges (invited from the startup and investment communities). The winning startup will get ₦1,000,000 in exchange for 5% equity stake or less.

Competition Requirements

Compulsory: Company information, management information, customer problem, target market, current funding, funding history and pitch deck.

Non-compulsory: Information on customers, business model, competitive advantage, information on products/services, sales/marketing strategy, competitors, annual financials, pitch video, business plan and financial projections
