Bonire Abdulrahman Femi, just like every other ordinary Nigerian has a dream to become something in life – An Army General.
He was so passionate about this that he refused to write the university entry exam (Jamb) when he was passing out of secondary school. This, to him, was to make his parent give his ambition their all.

After several failed attempts to secure an admission into the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), he began to realize that he has to have several other realistic plans.

The Bigger Dream
Deep within, he has always been nursing a bigger dream, which is to become a successful entrepreneur. But, the big question is, how was he going to achieve this fit? Thus, he let go of his military ambition and leverage on one of the legacies and professions his father has instilled in him from childhood, which is plumbing.

But, he wants to do plumbing with a difference, and make himself available to clients and customers 24/7!

The Stumbling Blocks
After several failed attempts to repackage and promote his plumbing business, shortly after graduating from the university, he gave in to the challenges of paying the bills and took up a day job briefly with an insurance company and a bank in quick succession.

But, all along, his dreams of building his own business would not let him be. Hence, he resigned from the bank and went back fully into his plumbing business.


Dream Actualized
Although he might still be having some other great business plans up his sleeves, but as far as plumbing is concerned, he is living his dreams.


“I no longer have to get stuck to the same monotonous routine job every single day the way it used to be”.

“I now enjoy what I do and do what I enjoy. Do you? If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking don’t settle” says Abdulrahman.

Except for WASTING his time, talent and efforts as well as his parents' money going to university campus for four years or more.
He could have done six months or more in a vocational school/technical college to be a certified modern plumber.
What a waste of time.

Sometimes you have to live your dream and turn a blind eyes to those who criticize you. I am so sure those criticizing this guy are jobless, the only job they have is come up here and write shit, in couple of months now this guy will open a thread here on nairaland looking for a receptionist,accountant and driver and you start applying.

Get something done with your life now, turn down ur ego and learn something that make u a master.
