Just this afternoon, the news of Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah’s arrest by EFCC filtered into the news space with different online platforms drawing the attention of readers with their hyped headlines, anti political watchdogs to Uche Ogah did not spare the news as they feasted on it and embarked on sharing spree.

To avoid being caught in the web of misinformation, Abia Facts Newspaper took it’s time to investigate the veracity of the information been circulated.

The Truth

Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah was sued some months back by Mrs. Bridget Adeosun, the managing director of Mut-Hass Petroleum Ltd. In that suit, she claimed she was defrauded during an oil deal by Masters Energy Group which Uche Ogah heads.

Mrs. Adeosun did not only sue Ogah, she likewise petitioned him to the EFCC still alleging she was defrauded.

After months of litigation, the magistrate Court in Lagos which was handling the matter dismissed it today ,but their was a need for both parties to still appear before the EFCC for clarification.

The need for clarification was what took Dr. Uche Ogah to EFCC office in Victoria Island Lagos today.

Based on the information made available to us, both parties have resolved the issue and Ogah cleared of all allegations.

As at the time of filing this report, Abia Facts Newspaper gathered authoritatively that Uche Ogah is in the comfort of his home in Lagos.
