At least five children below 5 years have been rescued at Iyana-Ipaja roundabout, Lagos from beggars pretending to be their parents only to use them to solicit for alms. These kids were said to be "rented" from their biological parents.



The beggars migrate to different locations as soon as they have been noticed. These kids follow passers-by begging for help. One of the woman arrested was carrying an identical twins claimed she lost her husband when she gave birth to the twins.
