A final year student IKEAKHE MOSES from the department of Mechanical Engineering, FUTA has designed a multirotor drone from locally sourced materials. The student who majored in aeronautics in his final year in the university applied the basic concepts of Mechanical and Aeronautical engineering in the design, analysis and fabrication of the drone from locally sourced materials. inline with him and his supervisors dream of catching up with the rest of the world in multirotor developmnt, the drone was designed to carry a payload of 2kg and serve as the basis for further drone development in the department. This is the 4th drone from the department and one of the many facinating projects done by Engineering students from FUTA. 1 Like 1 Share
