Should a father publicise who his favorite child is even 2d face of his other children ?... My love for my dad has greatly reduced d very day he revealed this 2me & this is someone who abandoned me for 7years ....I av always tried being a gud child but now I don't just care anymore....he's only lucky am still residing with him because of no job but d moment I do daz d end....... Bash me if u like I care not.......

its normal dear for a parent to be inclined emotionally towards a particular child, it doesn't mean they hate you though but they tend to be inclined towards a particular child, its in every family, in mine its thelast child, but from what you said it seems you have a damaged relationship with your dad, abandoning you for seven yrs, no parent should do that, try to understand why you have such a dysfunctional relationship with him, maybe you guys can work something out

I really don't know why but am grown up now & I can't see us building any relationship , I don't even want to but I already learnt lessons & would do my best not to make same with my kids...
