Benue State Government treated workers to a rude shock when they received N10 as salary.

A worker who sent a screen grab of the text said, it was surprising to see N10 as salary after being owed several months of unpaid wages.

However, a government source called for calm, saying the incident was a mistake from the bank. He added that workers should expect their salaries soon.

The government is simply moving it's dedicated account for payment of salaries to Zenith bank from UBA and Zenith was simply test-running the system.

It wasn't "salary" payment for the month.

Ortom can't pay state workers' salaries before the end of a month sef- not even in his dreams.
