So people protesting in one street in Akure has become violent protests in Akure? P.s Heard Mimiko was quoted as saying PMB "promised to look into the matter",wen he visited him @asorock. My question is how does PMB intend to settle d matter if actually he did say so:by calling the fhc judge to reverse his decision? By telling the appeal court justices to throw out that of the FHC?By telling Jimoh Ibrahim to step down for d other PDP factional candidate or what exactly can he do? Or by telling INEC to replace Jimoh with that of Jegede? This is a president that cudnt do anything wen Oyegun doctored delegates list to return akeredolu in his own APC!Unless PMB didn't actually tell Mimiko what he was said to av said, then this is one of the gravest statements and gaffes ever made by this president and it shud make everyone feel really concerned about his senility that a president wants to settle what is now a purely legal matter he has no authority over. |

veekid:INEC announced jimoh as flag bearer of PDP(and his not a PDP member). Eyitayo won the PDP primary, so INEC slot jimoh's name in place of eyitayo |

veekid: INEC was acting on the instruction of Power from Above to do otherwise against the Advice of INEC Legal Department (which advice INEC not to substitute Jegede name) But because the Power that be from Oga-the-top prevail on INEC to do their bidding not minding the resulting consequences of their action.. Anyway Appeal court is sitting today and tommorrow. |

IsThisChange: Is INEC now different from INEC legal department? Are you a member of INEC legal department to know their deliberation?? INEC is not INEC without its legal department and other departments. The legal department and other departments is what makes up INEC. Stop misinforming the public. Is INEC not bound to obey a consequential order of a competent court of law?? There is actually no big deal here, all they have to do is to go to a higher court to prove their case. If a higher court rules in their favour, INEC will also follow that ruling. If the case proceeds to Supreme court and they also give their ruling, INEC will also simply obey that ruling. INEC is a 'zombie' to a competent court judgment. Justice Okon Abang has always been ruling in favour of Sherrif faction since the beginning of these their wahala. What I don't understand is why they have not gone to a higher court to vacate any of those his rulings all these while. Justice Okon Abang cannot rule against himself. Any case brought to him as regards PDP faction wahala, he will always rule in favour of Sheriff to maintain consistency in his judgements as he has earlier done. It's only a higher court that can rule against him and as such compel him to rule in like manner in similar cases. |
