@TWoods Can we be friends? really impressed by your very insightful posts in the last couple pages that have been put forward without jabbing I used to be the number one advocate of no insult/assumptions/bias's with your responses. I actually still am. I want to say that TWoods posts in the past couple pages have all been as polite as anyone can ever be. Please have an open mind when reading his responses and stop looking for insults where there is none. Twoods has re-branded abeg leave him alone as he continues to speak the truth. 2 Likes |

Good evening house, Pls I ve an issue bothering on renewal of b1/b2 visa. My family did a renewal in 2016 which will expire in Feb 2018. Unfortunately, my 2 kids and hubby have not travel with d visa and will definately not be chanced to use it till it expires. I was the only one that used the visa ds yr on my from giving birth in Canada. We now want to renew it as soon as it expires in Feb but my hubby is sceptical that we might be denied due to the fact that he and the kids wasted the previous one without using it. He also heard from a source that the US consulate has started reducing visa issuance unlike how it was few mnths ago. My hubby was with me to Canada but didn't go to d US... We really need to know if we stand a good chance of not being denied. |

seemorejoy: For your information, house didnt recomend anyone. People here just have used them and shared their experiences maybe. However, Docesparati or whatever isnt a person, you may need to read well to understand the TOR for docesparati and decide on what u r using. In d process, u should come accross their email addresses too. Best of luck |

dimpules8: Oh dear! I did my dropbox early last year. I think you fill the form first, then attempt to book an appointment but choose dropbox instead... It's been a while and things keep changing so your best bet is to go on the website and follow the instructions. Goodluck |

Teefinix3: I would not listen to any “source” who is not a legitimate US visa officer. Your husband and kids should be ok to do Dropbox. There is no law that says you should be denied a visa because you didn’t get the opportunity to use the previous one. I’d wager the VOs are well aware that sometimes other priorities cause you to change travel plans. 1 Like |

dimpules8: You have the option.of choosing dropbox when you are about to schedule your appointment, just fill your DS 160 and proceed to book appointment, then you will be asked few questions which will determine if you are eligible for dropbox or not. Hope this helps. |

Hello NL, My interview for visa is as shown below, went there with my DW and 20 month old baby: VO: Good morning DH and DW: hello good morning sir VO: passports pls DH: gives him the passports for me, DW and baby VO was just looking at his desktop (i guess he was going through our applications online form) for about 2 minutes he was just surfing through. VO: what is your relationship DH: she's my wife VO: how long have you been married DH: January next year will make it 3yrs in marriage VO: where do you work DH: I told him VO: asked my wife also where she works DW:she also told her cos she's is a trainee photographer VO: where else have you traveled to DH: I've been to UK, S/KOREA and both of us have been to UAE and FINLAND VO: what did you go to FINLAND to do DH: was invited by a friend to come for his graduation ceremony VO: tell me what you saw there DH: emphasized the fact that a friend invited me for his graduation VO: for the last time what did you see in FINLAND (at this time my DW was beginning to get worried as I could see it in her and ofcos i was also kinda shivering within) DH: the place was very cold and i saw nice people and in all it was a nice experience VO: Give me a short time (so the VO goes inside and ofcos i dont know what he went in for. After about 3 minutes later he returned) VO: what are you going to do in California (California is the place i stated i'll be residing when we get there cos i have an aunt there) DH: for visit and child birth because my wife is pregnant VO: whats your budget for this trip DH: between 9000 to 12000 dollars VO: how do you intend to pay for your bills DH: I have a statement of account showing my funds and hands it over to him VO: Looks through the account statements VO: OK your visa has been approved and gives us the white document stating how we are to collect it. DH: thank you sir... One thing also is that the VO also checks how confident you are with some kinda questions they ask, especially when I was asked about FINLAND over and over... That was how it went and i wanna appreciate you guys for all the stories I've read here since September this year. One thing: When you are filling your DS-160 form make sure all the things you wrote there is exactly all you'll say if you're asked during the interview because any difference will result in a denial. Also take note of the duration you say you're going to spend there. Before our interview i heard one guy that was asked and he said he will be staying there with his wife for 6 months...that is way too long and even if, you must not say this to the VO as they will just conclude you have no strong ties and will be denied. That was how he was denied cos the VO kept on asking him his duration there...TAKE NOTE One final thing always pray too, very important...PRAYER IS THE KEY... 14 Likes |
